From dancing to wings…

The dancing is for the poop that Lupe made today…

The wings are for the ones she now has…

It was time to let her go, she had grown so weak and the cancer was taking over…

The emotions are too raw, the house is too quiet…I will chronicle the day at some point, but for now rest well my sweet girl, run free my pooh bear and know that you are forever in my heart…

  1. I’m so, so, so sorry! This makes so very sad.

She is a happy poo bear girl again and your did a wonderful thing by releasing her.

    I’m so sorry.

  2. Oh I’m so sorry! This is not the way things are supposed to turn out. We told you Lupe would be better and perk up, and that is what we believed. Truly, most dogs do begin to eat and perk up and become interested in their environment and their family. Perhaps the cancer did indeed have more of a hold on Lupe than anyone thought.

I know the house is too quiet and too clean, and I’m so sorry for that. I wish I could take this away. Please know and believe that even though no one could save Lupe, we will be here for this awful part of the journey. We will hold your hand, uphold your spirit and not let you fall.

  3. I didn’t know Lupe or her story but I am so sorry for your loss anyway. I remember the raw emotions of letting go, it is just so hard and I’m sorry.

  4. Words cannot express the sadness we feel for your loss. Although Lupe was quiet in her final days, I am sure that her vibrant spirit and all you both shared together will fill your heart with love and warm lasting memories. I can only imagine how difficult it was to have to let her go, but I am sure that she knows how much she was loved and cared for. You will be in our thoughts. Remember that it is not “goodbye” rather, “until we meet again”.

  5. Please accept our most sincere condolences. May sweet Lupe run free of pain and rest in peace at the Rainbow Bridge with all our fallen Tripawd heroes.

  6. What a shock, I can’t believe this news. Last night, I could swear that she was going to make a comeback and start her new life on three legs. I’m so very sorry, I know this has got to hurt so much.

Lupe, I know you will look so beautiful in those wings. Fly free, and watch over our Tripawd friends.

    xoxo
